Rocklands Hostel offers residents the use of six desktop stations and two stations for laptop connections free of any charge. For residents who prefer Broadband Internet connection in their room we recommend a wireless connection provided by Woosh Wireless Ltd. Installation and ongoing subscription is at the residents own cost.

Self-contained Kitchen

Our large kitchen is the perfect environment to meet and greet people from all over the world. Share the experience of preparing a full meal, or learn new recipies for the trusty two minute noodles.
Residents will need to bring their own cooking and dining utensils, or these can be obtained locally for as little as $20.00.

Sited immediately outside the main kitchen the BBQ area receives the afternoon sun, and is a delightful location to waste away the evening. Group together for a BBQ experience.

Our established trees, flower garden and lawns provide many locations for the quiet lounge or to view many of Auckland’s extinct volcano’s

Rocklands Hostel has 36 secure car-parks which we hire out at $14.00 per week. All other parking is off-site. Unauthorised vehicles parked on the property will be towed away at the owners expense.

 These machines are coin-operated requiring $2.00 for a wash and $2.00 for a dry. You need to supply your own washing powder. Clotheslines are available.

The local bus stop is a 200metre walk from Rocklands Hostel. It is a two stage trip to Auckland’s Central Business District which will cost approx $2.60.
